When he’s not designing custom communications systems with his team at Rittenhouse Communications Group, Sean Edwards is busy giving back to the community. Sean has participated in a range of philanthropic efforts throughout the region. Philanthropy and community engagement is important to Sean, as a Philadelphia resident and business owner giving back is a priority.
Sean Edwards has been a passionate supporter of local law enforcement for almost two decades. He is proud to have served on the board of the Philadelphia Police Foundation and was on the founding committee of the Run for Blue. Additionally, served as the PDAC representative for Queen Village Neighborhood Association for the 3rd District as well as Friends of the South Street Mini Station..
Mr. Edwards is also on the advisory council for the SS United States Conservancy. Their mission is the protection and further preservation of America’s flagship, the SS United States, which is berthed in Philadelphia, PA. The unique and complex history of this iconic sea-going vessel has become Sean’s passion.
Sean has always been a fan of the arts and continues his interests in supporting the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Philly Pops as well. Sean Edwards strongly believes that art is an ever-important part of building a sustainable community.
As someone who highly values the importance of technology, Sean Edwards also participates in Drexel’s COOP program. The purpose of this initiative is to train the next generation of technologists and help them achieve their dreams. Sean is proud to provide on-the-job training for these young professionals and give them the necessary tools to further their careers in technology.
Sean is also a supporter of Focused Athletics and their mission of supporting local youth in academic and athletic excellence.
